Artificial lawn set to open

The new “Ranga” Artificial lawn is set to open this weekend in the garden are of Montressors. A huge thank you to the Four Winds Foundation, the Youthtown trust and to you the members for selling the Raffle tickets needed to achieve the extra funds towards this project. Earlier this week new pebbles were laid around the BBQ hut so it is ready to go.

Shortly we will call a working bee to repaint the fences, trim the trees in the area and under plant the gardens with plants that have been donated by Palmers  on Pakuranga Highway. The project has been a real team effort with the crew from Field Turf NZ, led by former Eden Park groundsman Mark Perham doing a fantastic job of the installation.

“This was our major project for the year and with it now in place the area is for all club members to enjoy and we wish to see as many as possible using it over the years” said Board Chairman Robert Neil.

To book the area for team or private functions please contact Kiri Kay our functions manager on 027 633 3857 or email functions@purc.co.nz
