
2018 MAJOR CLUB-WIDE FUNDRAISER RAFFLE
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
To ALL Team Managers/ Coaches/Parents/Supporters and Players
We are all so lucky to enjoy the beautiful facilities we have here at the Club. The changes made over the years have seen our facilities use grow exponentially which is fantastic. To ensure the Club continues to give you the member the best facilities this year we are fundraising to change the lawn area (400sqm) outside of the Montressors Lounge into Artificial Turf so that we can use it year round to play on and enjoy. We have managed to secure Trust Funding for some of the works but we still need to raise funds to finish off this project.
We are asking for your support in this effort to make change. We are asking that each member of the Club sell one book of five tickets for either $5 each or $20 for the book of five.
As an incentive for teams to try and sell more than one book we have put in place a prize to the team that sells the most books. A $400 end of season BBQ function in the new turf area is in place for the most ticket sales (as determined by dollar amount received). This is in place to the highest selling team in each section of the Club, i.e. Juniors (U5 to U10’s), Juniors (U11’s to U13’s), Seniors and the Netball section.
Extra raffle books can be collected from the office.
To Team Managers / Coaches
We really need your support to ensure we get this new turf area that we all can use going forward. Please distribute the attached raffle tickets amongst your team, all book numbers have been allocated to a player in your team so that we can ensure the books are returned. Can you please coordinate the book butts and money to be returned to Amanda Dyason (Rugby Administrator) by the 10th August in the office.
Key dates
· Butts and money are to be returned before the 10th August 2018 via the team Manager, back to Amanda Robinson at the office.
· Raffle is to be drawn on the 24th August, at the Club’s Bledisloe Luncheon.
