Since the redevelopment of the clubhouse in 2011 we have had a small problem with noise in both the Trevor King and Dufty Bell Lounges bouncing around the rooms making it difficult to hear when we have large crowds in these areas. This week we have had new “quite space” panels installed to try and soften this noise issue. To eliminate the issue was not really an option so the Board has taken the next best option to try and minimise the problem. Thanks to surplus funds from the World Masters Games earlier in the year the Board wanted to both solve a problem and use the funds so that we gained a legacy from the games extra income. So the next time you are in the club house see if you can notice the difference!
