Wind, Rain and Mud – Great Fun for the Kids, Not So Much for the Parents!  

Tonight, the U7 Braves took on the Giants in some pretty cold and wet conditions. Given the weather, we expected a few kids might not be up for it—but to their credit, every single player turned up with a great attitude and had a fantastic time out on the field. A huge thank you to all the parents who braved the elements to support them!  

It’s incredible to see the progress the kids are making each week. From learning the rules and working on their running and passing, to now showing real confidence when going for rips—it’s all coming together.  

Player of the Day went to Rhys Williams for his stellar runs and never-give-up attitude. Special mentions also go to Jack Bason for his strong running, Levi Huggert for some excellent defending, and Jackson Jones, who impressed everyone with a hat-trick of tries!  

Well done to all the kids for giving it their all in tough conditions. Onward and upward, Braves!
