The Black Panthers incredible season has continued to garner great news with five players selected for the New Zealand Under 85kg team.

New Zealand Rugby reps surprised the team at the club last week when they assembled for their team photo. 

Stalwart Ben Biggelaar was presented with his boots that he ceremoniously hung up at Sky Stadium after the final. Alongside the boots was a note that said he would be needing them again as he had been selected in the national team. Forcing potentially the shortest retirement stint in history!

Joining Ben in the New Zealand team are Rory Cavanagh, Jeandre du Toit, Francis Morrison and Jamie Petford.

The team is set to travel to Asia next April.
