Thanks to a $1800 donation from the Friday Knighters we are now the proud owners of a AED heart saver machine. Late last year the club was made aware of these machines and their ability to potentially save people’s lives if they are suffering a heart attack whilst at the club. When asked club chairman Robert Neil said “we have a responsibility to protect both members and the general public, if this machine saves one person it has achieved our goal of keeping our community safe. The club were not in a position to purchase the machine so the support of the Friday Knighters is fantastic and what our club is all about” We are now waiting for a storage case to arrive and it will hung in a position that all can access when at the club.
