With the senior rugby season just around the corner, the senior club got a significant boost with generous supporters contributing more than $40,000 at Saturday’s Senior Jersey Auction.

The auction was opened up to all senior teams in 2024, giving our jersey sponsors exposure across six teams and the added benefit of having their logo on Bell Park sign boards.

The evening was led by I Am Hope founder Mike King, who entertained the crowd as well as educating them on the work his organisation does; which Pakuranga contributes towards through funding counselling sessions for young New Zealanders.

Raising $42,000 for senior rugby at the club, 23 jerseys went up for auction as well as the coaching and management tops.

The most sough after jersey this year was the number 10, followed by the left wing, number 11.
