Nothing like a Friday night under lights at Bell Park. The scene was set for a rippa game as the Giants took on the Seahawks. 

Layne got the game underway, with a powerful run he managed to get around the outside of the opposition and dot down for one of his 5+ try’s.  It was great to see the confidence building in the team and most notably Sophie and Judah.  Judah sliced the defensive line open for a run away try down the sideline from a beautiful offload from Sophie.

Draye had his best game of the season, slippery on attack and relentless on defensive.  The Captain Theo took some first half advice on board and stepped up in the second half making some excellent defensive decisions and keeping the Seahawks away from the line.  Finn’s work rate on Friday was second to none, a mighty effort.

William and Millar linked up for the try of the night, a darting run by William took the play towards the side line where the rip was completed with no hesitation William launched a spiral pass out the back to Millar who got the meat pie between the uprights.

Defensive play of the night when to Janco which secured him man of the match performance after a breakaway by the Seahawks.  Janco’s determination to not give up and run the length of the field diving for the Rip meters before the try line denying the Seahawks!
