Game 2 against Marist Rhino's, one of the better U12 sides. An exciting start for the boys that got a photo taken with Dan Carter (his son was playing in the game before us).

After a week of terrible weather the sun came out and the Marist field was good, and set for an exciting game.

With a depleted squad and no subs it was a close game!

The Jaguars won the forward battle but Marist won the back battle and two late tries to Marist sealed the win for them.

To quote the All Black coach, the boys took some "good learnings" from the game and will be stronger next week.

POD Forwards:  Malu Palesoo (aka The Tank). Strong and powerful display with ball in hand resulted in a great all round game, and scoring two tries).

POD Backs:  Ollie Fisher - new to rugby but you would not know. Fast passing halfback and always a danger running from the back of a ruck or scrum.
