This weekend over 100 juniors from the club are set to invade Taupo with 6 of our junior teams set to compete in the NZ Junior Rugby Festival at Owen Delany Park.

With teams ranging from U9’s to U13’s the club is quietly confident of a very good showing from our teams and hopefully a repeat of last year when we won one of the titles.

Tour organiser and PURC Intermediate Chairman Dean Thomas has done a fantastic job in bring our teams together and has made sure they are all set to go for a fantastic weekend for both players, management and parents.

The Club will have a central base at the grounds with our GM Steve Hackett, Junior Coordinator Ben Higgins and our ultimate volunteer Russell Lattimore set to feed all for the weekend. If you are down watching don’t forget to pop in and say hallo to the team.
